Fondly known as Chef Kang, Chef Ang Song Kang is a seasoned Singaporean Cantonese chef with more than four decades of culinary experience. After honing his craft in various famous kitchens, he founded Chef Kang’s Private Kitchen in 2015, where he showcased his mastery of traditional Cantonese cuisine through a personal and ingredient-driven approach. The intimate restaurant was awarded one MICHELIN Star from 2017 to 2024, cementing his reputation as a notable figure in Singapore culinary scene.

Today, Chef Kang brings his wealth of experience and deep understanding of traditional Cantonese cuisine to Xing Yue Xuan. With his refined techniques, knowledge of premium ingredients and mastery of Cantonese flavours, he creates distinctive dishes that honour tradition while bringing greater depth and sophistication to the dining experience.
